Did anyone else find themselves thinking ‘awe, I want to find my prince (or Cinderella) charming’? Let’s be honest, not all of us wish to have a princess or prince kind of romance (yes, my sister… I’m talking about you). That being said, I am 100% that type of girl and love to find out that someone has truly found ‘their charming’. Which reminds me, does anyone watch Once Upon A Time? It’s about a time where all of the storybook characters get lost in the modern world and they don’t know it until the ‘savior’ comes and saves them all. Super corny but I’m into that.
Back to the point here. I’m about to show you an absolutely beautiful wedding that was inspired by a fairy tale. I bet you didn’t guess that one. This bride absolutely loves her Disney. I mean really, who doesn’t? One of the amazing things about this particular wedding was that they were family. That’s always the best part right? Being able to take time to celebrate a love that you have witnessed growing for many years is by far one of the most precious feelings in the world.
This wedding took place in St. Louis on Fourth of July. Which is super cool because it was a great time to take a road trip to a place we don’t really get to see very often. This wedding was extra special because Zach, my husband, was an usher. The bride and groom were so thoughtful that they decided that members of the wedding party could bring along a friend or significant other to ride their party bus around St. Louis for photos. As you will find, I’m obsessed with following wedding parties so this was very exciting to me and we had a blast hanging out with the newlyweds!
Let me start you off with something unbelievably sweet. Like I mentioned above, we traveled down to St. Louis for this wedding as did several other guests. One of the amazing things this bride decided to do was bake her hotel guests cupcakes as a welcome. I repeat. She baked her guests cupcakes.
This might be the sweetest thing someone could do to welcome their guests. I was unbelievably wow’d.
Aren’t you ready for some really amazing details after seeing how special this couple is? I sure am.. Here we go.
The Ceremony
A Special Detail:Â This couple decided to have someone especially close to them officiate their wedding. Their special someone happened to be the brides grandfather. I am in absolute awe of this specific feature of their wedding ceremony. I can honestly say that I should have brought my box of tissues.
